This is pretty interesting... The next gen DS is rumored to use the NVIDIA Tegra, which is the same graphics processor that is on Microsoft's Zune HD. If the rumor is true, I guess we will finally get our true DS upgrade.
Thoughts?

The DSi was not a true successor to the DS though, more of a minor upgrade. Also, a video of the Zune HD: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4JtMnkNh8jY

I was eagerly anticipating the Nvidia Tegra, it is pretty powerful because it supports 1080p, HDMI output etc, just not Windows :P So it is truly for handhelds, phones, etc, not really a computer.

Are the graphics better than the PSP's?

PC...

Nvidia make solid cards, I'm running one on my PC and its a behemoth...Nvidia will be a great addition, but they are gonna have to make it a v.small card.

Yes with the Tegra it should be.

I hope the DS2 will have 2 screens. And be able to play DS games as well.

It's supposed to be backwards compatible so it should.

A rumor about nvidia cards being in the next DS doesn't mean there will be a DS2. No one can say ANYTHING about the DS2 unless they're working for Nintendo or a company working with Nintendo.

There's nothing confirmed about DS2 at all, we don't know if it'll be backwards compatible, have 2 screens, or whether the name will actually be DS2.

At best the next Nintendo handheld will be revealed at the next TGS. That's late 2010, meaning it won't be released to America til late 2011. So don't get pissy saying "OMG they just came out with the DSi!".
