Yeah, they go out of date quickly... I don't usually play really recent games, the most recent ones I play are Counter Strike: Source and Half Life 2, oh, and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, so I buy really good (or as good as I can afford) computers every few years which saves me upgrading a lot

Man... I still only have 512mb ram. Maybe this is a sign that I should get a new computer.

Thats a very good computer sinkhead, i wish you the best and assure that will definitely will get a 4.5 or higher of rating in vista. And pharohsvizier, 512mb is pretty good if your using anything below windows xp, but if you vista, 1gb of ram makes a HUGE difference trust me. Its like comparing a bicycle to a Mustang. And 2gb or 4gb on vista, ufffff, you'll be breaking the sound barrier.

I have only 512MB ram as well, but everything else in my PC is top notch. I could go for a better vid card, but it's not necessary. Vista runs just fine on my 512mb ram, but I should be getting at least another 1.5GB soon.
