Simple. Post your ideal party (I actually have mine...)
Metagross- Absolute beast in terms of attack/defence/spatk/spdef
Dragonite- Pretty strong pokemon with good move combatability
Tyranitar- Looks cool, hits like a truck
Kingdra- Only one weakness, reasonably strong as well
Sceptile- Faster than a ninja, fastest pokemon in the game afaik.
Jirachi- Balanced stats with powerful move combos.

Hmmmmm, I'll have to think long and hard about this one. Frankly I used to go like 6 Alakazams because I didn't realize Pokemon was such a deep game in the past (Pokemon Blue/Red era). And then later on, I just went with whatever I caught. But I guess now is about time to create a good team.

I never really got far enough into the game to make a dream team. I just go along in the game and say "Hey, I'll need this type of pokemon soon so I can beat this gym...".
Generally I'll have my starter pokemon get me up to almost the first gym and then I catch a second pokemon that's pretty good all around. Then after that just get either really good pokemon, or types I need.
Also, gotta love them HM slaves :D

Changed Glaceon to Leafeon. Because Vaporeon could already learn ice moves.
