The family might be getting a couple DSi's for the kids and a PSP Go for me before the end of the year and maybe even a ps3 slim. What about you?

Also rumor has it the Wii will drop to $199.99 at the end of this month as well. Luckily I already have a Wii.

New laptop coming in here :)

My top screen died too, been a while since I planned to fix it.... I blame DX for not shipping it out :P

The top screen still works but it won't click in place. So it flip flops all over the place.... But I just saw this on GBATemp: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic= ... try2251584

Maybe I might get another DS Lite instead.

Lol Pharaoh, what are you gonna get? I'm planning (hoping and praying) on getting something that can run games (not on max fps, just able to) so I can do something on the way to Uni, or if I'm bored or something.

Sucks that they don't have Walmart in New York City. To go to Walmart I have to go all the way to Long Island.

Nothing really. I'm happy with my DS now, so I hope nothing happens,

Naw I'm getting a netbook, not really a gaming laptop, those things are a pain to lug around, or at least most of em are...

What? No Zune HD? :P

09-15-2009, 11:29 PM
I may, I'm juggling the idea of getting a new MP3 player, but the real issue is that I NEED a large hard drive, I can't live with anything smaller than 100GB because I usually store a TON of movies on em, so that's an issue.

JEEEEZ I just read about Zune HD's 3D gaming, I mean PROJECT GOTHAM by the end of this year.... that's pretty big.... and even more tempting than ever... It's too bad I spent all my money on textbooks... stupid university...

Is the Zune HD better than Ipod Touch?

09-16-2009, 04:59 PM
Here, let's compare side to side.

Microsoft's app store is completely free, because Microsoft spends time with the developers to ensure quality. Apple's app store costs money but has more apps. Tie.

Zune HD has an HD radio, which is like FM + HD. IPod Touch, however, doesn't have any sort of radio. Zune wins.
Zune HD has a true 16:9 aspect ratio, so you don't have to watch films squished like on the ipod touch. Zune wins.
Zune HD has a 720p output to connect to your TV, and a whole different interface just for the TV. iPod touch can also connect to the TV, however, films will be stretched. Zune wins again.
Gaming: iPod touch has it's app store, but Zune HD has the Tegra processors behind it, so 3d gaming is a high possibility.
Zune HD has an OLED screen, I'm not too sure about the iPod touch, though OLED is one of the newer kinds of screens.
Zune HD is cheaper (Check the prices).

I think a clear winner is here.

I have that game for PC, and it rocks.
