View Full Version : Ordered my 1st Wii Modchip from Divineo.cn

09-20-2007, 06:24 PM
I ordered the wiikit to try out since its only $9.95, while the wiikey is $25.00 and the cyclowiz is $39.95. I also ordered 2 of them, one for me and one for my friend. So for 2 modchips + standard shipping option it only cost $25. It should take around 1-2 weeks to get delivered, but I can wait.

Anybody here have the wiikit? let me know how it worked for you.

I have a new Wii with the D2C chipset and solder pad 3 missing, but luckily my coworker has an older wii she was willing to trade me for my new one so I could get a modchip, her and her husband dont care about modding there wii, so i lucked out. I cant wait to install it hopefully this coming week, if not the week after.

O wow close call. I've been using a WiiKey, but apparently most people don't like them...

my coworker had a wiikey installed in her wii a couple weeks ago, and so far it works great. Hopefully I get the wiikit by saturday, so I can install it this weekend and check it out, I cant wait.

Man that was quick, my order came today, took less than a week to get delivered from Hong Hong and only for $5 shipping, not bad at all. Unfortnately nobody was home to get the package, so USPS will try to deliver it again tomorrow, I cant wait. Im better off not getting it today, as I would have tried to install it tonight and get no sleep and then have to work tomorrow.

I hate it when I miss packages. Anyways, good luck with your Wiikit, the wiikey's update finally came, I don't see much of a difference...

Just installed the wiikit, at first it wouldnt read any disks, but when I uninstalled the wiikit it worked fine, so i was thinking a bad chip, but then i read on some forums with people with the same problem and alot of people had problems with different media in which you needed to run the 1.X config disk for eveything to work fine. So after burning the 1.3 config disk and trying multiple brands media, it finally read the 1.3 config disk and everything is working fine, just tried a couple games works like a charm.

Man the wiikit is so worth it, only $9.95 + shipping you cant beat that, so I got 2 wiikits for the price of one wiikey, and the wiikit uses the same firmware as an original wiikey. Also you only need to solder 6 wires, which wasnt to bad, as long as you have some solder experience, it not, it might be pretty complicated for some people. So far ive been using memorex dvd+r at 8x and everybody has worked fine.

So every game has worked? Does it have GC capability too?

Glad it's working for you.

Yes it works great, so far everygame has worked with no problems. So far ive tried about 20 games total.

Also it is suppose to support GC games, but I have not tried any GC games yet.

Also currently divineo.cn is not selling and flashcarts or modchips at the moment, hopefully its not a crack down from the government.

Does any one need Wii.
I can send you my Wii .
I just bought a Wii v3.4u and I have hit a wall. I rented the Zelda game and successfully loaded homebrew and downloaded some games. YEAH!

first off ur bumping an age old topic but why would you send someone a wii?!

That sounds like... spambot.
Though I'm not too sure - cause it's a pretty smart one.

It does seem a bit odd for a spambot, well, I'll keep an eye out for him.
