If you guys play DotA, you HAVE to try out Heroes of Newerth. Heroes of Newerth is going to be a commerical game that is almost an exact copy of DotA. There are a few new heroes, but many are straight from the game with new names and new graphics. The engine is updated, the interface, etc. I’m not allowed to post any pictures or screenshots of my own because I might get banned, but there is a bit of stuff on Youtube.<\/p>\n

Here’s the juicy part. I have THREE invites for DSDatabase viewers. If you want a key, simply post IN THIS THREAD, with a valid email on the form. I don’t mind one word posts or stuff like that, but keep it in this thread. I will then raffle the three off on July 15th, 2009 among everyone who entered.<\/strong> Remember that entries are limited BY IP, not by email address, so don’t try to scam your way into a key.<\/p>\n

Anyways, I got the invite yesterday, and have played a few games. Someone in the community who didn’t really know me at all was generous enough to invite me because I simply wanted to try it out, so hopefully this little raffle will be enough to give back.<\/p>\n

It is extremely similar to DotA, it did get frustrating trying to figure out all the renamed heroes, but it is kind of cool. Here’s a Youtube video I dug up:<\/p>\n
