The PS3 Slim is finally OFFICIALLY announced. It doesn’t seem like there are many details yet, we don’t know if there is backwards compatibility with PS2 or PS1 games, but we do know that it is supposed to do everything the PS3 does.<\/p>\n

The console was announced today in Gamescon 09, and I honestly don’t know what to make of it. I have a PS3, 80GB, and I don’t know if I want to dump it and grab a slim, or keep it as is. The price cut is definitely nice, and it might be enough to get some people buying the console.<\/p>\n
