So! As many of you may have heard, the Nintendo 3DS has received a price cut. This is apparently the first price cut in history that happened in the shortest amount of time since launch. Only four months have passed, and Nintendo has already had to offer a $80 price cut, about 40% of the original $250.

What does it mean? For users that paid in full, they will become "Nintendo Ambassadors." They will get some NES games before the public release on eShop. These games include The Legend of Zelda, Mario Bros., and other high profile titles. Later in the year, by the end of 2011, Ambassadors will also receive a set of ten GBA titles that will not be released to the public, including popular titles like Metroid Fusion, and Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island. The total ticker is 20 games. All this is possible by logging onto the Nintendo 3DS eShop on August 11th at least once, by 11:59PM. ...

3DS users have been eagerly awaiting the "big update" that has been delayed repeatedly. The update includes features advertised at launch but were nowhere to be found on the actual device. After waiting around all day, Nintendo has finally pushed the 2.0 update. You have to manually update by going into the settings and choosing to update the system, though the changelog suggests that future updates will be done automatically.

So the main part of the update comes in the form of the addition of the web browser and the eShop. The internet web browser can be run in the middle of any 3DS game, though not legacy DS and DSi games. It runs fairly smooth, but doesn't support java or flash. ...

Hey guys, this review is long overdue, and will be brief. It pertains to the Wood R4i Gold that was made from R4i DSN, found here. This sample was provided to me by Lightake, one of DSDatabase's sponsors.

    Build Quality

The team responsible for this cartridge did a pretty good job on the casing itself. It's extremely sturdy and it was made to last. It's pretty hard to pry apart. To distinguish this one, look at the back for its red PCB. I threw this thing around on the concrete, my walls, from the top of the stairs, and tali-ho! It still works! (And yes, I DID throw it around)

Still looks like the R4i that I knew

Stay on the lookout for a red PCB!

Hi everyone! Thanks for taking the time to read this review! First off, a special thanks to DealExtreme for supplying me with this review sample!
My first impression of this mouse when I got it right out of its packaging was rather… A high expectation, to say the least. When I received the product it came in a nice package, looked real fancy, kind of like a replica mouse for an Apple Mac. Let’s get more in depth, shall we?
The packaging was actually quite incredible, it was able to hold the mouse in place and keep the thing intact from any rough journey.

I bought this case off DealExtreme, it is an aluminum cover that attached onto the 3DS. It is surprisingly thin and quite durable, made possible with the material of the two layers, one is aluminum and the inside is lined with fabric. After quite a bit of usage, I can safely recommend this case, it's nice and cheap, it's quite durable, and because of how thin it is, it doesn't make the 3DS look bulky and leaves pretty good access to all the ports and indicators. Of course since it is still a case, it does definitely change the look and style of the 3DS, and no matter how thin it is, it is still restricting some access to the various sliders and ever so slightly, the L and R buttons.
