Nintendo eShop improvements coming in

In Nintendo's Semi-Annual Financial Results Briefing, they announced some major advances to the Nintendo eShop on the 3DS. The highlights are:

Playable demos
"Add-on content" (read DLCs)
Download in sleep mode (and concurrent downloads)
Web interface
QR codes

Frankly Nintendo's eShop should have had these implemented ages ago, I'm puzzled as to while the eShop is so watered down. But the fact that Nintendo is finally bringing this out is always appreciated.
