Valentines Day / Chinese New Years Giveaway

I feel like I'm spoiling my users with all these free gifts, but nonetheless, there is a week before Valentines Day and Chinese New Years and they both occur on the same day and free prizes are practically a must for such an occasion. I am moving away from flash carts again this time, giving away 3 computer games, and hopefully the turnout will be better than the last. For this giveaway, the three prizes will be: CounterStrike Source, Shattered Horizon and AudioSurf. There are three chances to win, they are all good games, and AudioSurf is not demanding at all. I know there were people who were a little disappointed with the last giveaway, so if you have any complaints, feel free to let me know in your entry or in a private message somewhere, I am still not sure if giving away different prizes is a good idea.

WINNERS HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED CHECK LAST POST/COMMENT!

Anyways, the rules are simple, entries will be accepted between the time this post is put up and the end of Valentines Day or Chinese New Year Pacific Time, that is to say, entry is closed on February 21st 12:00 Midnight PST.

To enter, simply comment on this article stating one holiday event or activity that you plan to participate in or had participated in. Be sure to include your email address in the username field or post with an account that is tied to a valid email. That may mean prowling chocolate stores or getting money from your relatives.

I am still encouraging users to blog on our site with anything interesting from games to toys to fancy electronics, so if you do write an article, feel free to post it up for an extra entry.

    Be sure to enter soon!

This is one I had participated in. In Fifth grade, my class had a Valentine's Day event where we would guess the amount of those candy hearts with the messages on them that were in a jar. Whoever guessed the right amount would win the jar of hearts. Strangely, the teacher requested that all entries be submitted on post-it note which I didn't have at the time. He wouldn't accept my entry on a normal sheet of paper. When it came time to reveal the correct amount, my value was the closest one... That made me mad. Of course, I didn't like that type of candy but still, it was a matter of principle. The school did not require that we bring post-its and I did not bring any. D:.

Anyway, that's my entry. Strange, since that's one of the few memories I have of 5th grade.

Dam it another computer game that sucks... My computer can't play any games on it since it sucks. So don't put me into this entry.

What's the point of commenting that Jakob?

Besides I'm sure you can run AudioSurf.

My recent holiday - Went to Hawaii for 2 weeks. Honolulu rapes it up, soo much shopping.
Before that, I went to Italy with school for 3 weeks, that was amazing.
Holiday before that was USA again, we went for....2 weeks and went to LA, San Diego, The Giant Hole, Vegas and Mexico.
The holiday before this was Fiji for 2 weeks.

Soo many good holidays, I'm actually pretty lucky.

Also, Can i just consider my home to be a holiday spot? I can go to the beach every day, and I'm about to start Uni and during the breaks most people go to the beach which is 5 mins away. <3 life (sometimes...)

At our school, we always have random dances in the middle of random times, and this time it was valentines, so they actually had a reason to plan something like that.

Well, I went for the heck of things. What a waste of my time. Not only did I have to pay 5 dollars to get in, you don't actually dance - instead, people just wander around eating overpriced food you could buy there.

On a side note, I have Audiosurf, and I can say it's a great game. It runs on my netbook. Yeah, the one with the internal graphics card, Intel 945 - infamous for being the crappiest chip in the world.

      I hope I win something.

      I'm Chinese.

Chinese New Year is probably my favorite time of the year. My family and I have always celebrated Christmas, excluding last year, but it just never felt right like CNY does. I'm probably going to gorge myself a few days from now, meet up with family, and get some nice red packets.

I don't really care if I win anything or not. This time I'm just signing up for the fun of it. Anyways, if it's going to be CS:S I'd rather not win anything at all T___T
