B-b-but I get Norm! :P Only thing I've seen it do better is making saves. Then again since 1.6 whatever Norm did made it slower but I can't complain. Wait does Wood R4 have homebrew soft reset?

No i dont think so, theres no option in the firmware but maybe it works natively Ill check it out

To my knowledge, even the commercial soft reset doesn't work (I can't check anymore, don't have a DS Lite on me), this is the first release anyways.

Yeah guess your right, updates should fix it lol it feels so strange writing updates will fix it for an R4 :P

Heh. What's interesting is how other AceKard firmwares will tie into this release. I know Normmatt has somewhat of his own version already, but it isn't as usable as the Wood R4.

Wood is simply one of many AceKard RPG firmwares out there, one of the best ones albeit, but there are different ones each with different capabilities. It'd be nice to see some other firmwares show up on the R4.

Does it have a better list of game compatability? Otherwise I'll just stick with YSmenu on my R4.

It can play HG/SS, SMT:SJ, and a bunch of other crap. Unpatched. Its the same guy who made Wood RPG.
