Well, the site depends on cookies being unblocked, also, you should read their FAQ on their forums as well, there's a bit tips and tricks guide on there, and it's pretty big. When I started last June, I gathered enough to get my first cart, an r4(yeah, I know, I was a nub then >_>)which was the equivalent of 30$USD(looking back, that seemed too much for a card that had no more support XD), but I've gotten almost all my DS things through them, even a dsi I wasn't trying to win(I had gotten 2 entries into one of their raffles, I wasn't even aware there was a raffle going on until I got an email... :\)
The best way for any skeptic is to get about 5 points and redeem it for an amazon.com gift card code(those usually process the fastest, IMO), but you have to be verified (anti-fraud measure) to redeem for any prizes.
