DSDatabase Version 4!

As you all know, I was not a fan of the third version of DSDatabase, which included the portal generated from John Olson’s AeroBlueX phpBB3 theme. It took more than a month of work, and even more planning. Albeit the actual OnePress installation and such were only a week or so of learning to modify the files properly, but hopefully some of you caught a glimpse of the RSS2Page or the extra portal boxes that appeared from time to time.

The final result is finally here. I can finally get rid of that portal and present a much nicer, cleaner, site. The actual design is mostly ripped from the default GreyTouch theme released by OnePress, but some modifications were made to make it somewhat our own. Obviously we are planning to do more to make DSDatabase unique and hopefully we will get our own child theme up and running as soon as possible.

I figured instead of rambling on, I might show you some old concepts we had, and show what DSDatabase could have been. Perhaps you guys remember the old version 3 concept we had, you can see the first iteration of that site below:

So hopefully our current site meets all your expectations and more. On a side note, to all of our forum members, you all have blog accounts created for you now. They are interchangeable. 🙂 So be sure to log in and comment instead from now on. 🙂

And MOST IMPORTANT of all, this is a brand new version of DSDatabase, so keep an eye out for bugs or problems. If you see any, PLEASE mention it in a comment, or email me. It is absolutely important that I know about it so I can fix it. Thanks!
