The Christmas Raffle is our basic raffle with one extra rule added this time around to embrace the holiday spirit. As usual, no registration is required.
The rules:
– The raffle entries are accepted before midnight December 25th PST (entries are still accepted on Christmas Day).
– To enter simply write one phrase or sentence in reply to this blog post describing some Christmas element, perhaps a trip to see Santa Claus, a party, or the gifts you want, etc. You may only get one raffle ticket through this method, however, feel free to post more than once or even in reply to comments of others. In your comment, please include a valid email in the form, for that is the method by which I will contact the winner.
– To earn an extra 1-3 raffle tickets, go out and do something nice for someone and prove it. Make a donation to a charity, volunteer or even something like giving a Christmas present to someone. Proof can quite literally be anything, a picture, video, a webpage, etc, and should be posted in this thread on the forum. Rules regarding multiple entries and receiving more than one ticket are detailed in the thread.

Needless to say they will go to three separate winners. The first person who wins the raffle gets to pick first, the second person gets to pick second and the third gets the remaining prize.

christmas in our family is sometimes a disaster (I’m talking about my mum) she stresses over every little detail from decorations to turkey dinner, few years ago our oven blew up with the turkey in it on christmas day 😀 that was sooo funny we ended up going out for christmas dinner which was great :), then there’s my little sister every year she gets all excited to see santa when he comes to our house on his sleigh (he really does 😀 )she sits on his knee and reels off a list that takes like 2 hours to complete each year XD. and then there’s last christmas which was my best christmas ever 🙂 my current girlfrined asked me out on christmas morning because she knew how I’d felt about her for months I just never had the courage to ask her myself, that was the best christmas present ever 🙂
so eah christmas for me is amazing most of the time 🙂
Christmas is my birthday (no kidding), so as my xmas or b-day present, I hope I win the raffle xD. I personally just want a new motherboard and CPU. lolol.
We can’t afford much for X-Mas, but I still would like some Pokemon Cards or a new Ocarina :P.
For Christmas last year, I went Christmas caroling around the neighborhood! I went with friends and we all wore santa hats too! Some nice people even offered us food :] We also took a trip to the hospital and sang in the hallways and to patients there. It’s really fun bringing and spreading the holiday cheer!
I’m not getting presents this year…
Anyway, I helped out at the Special Olympics this year, and it was really fun. I don’t sing Christmas carols or anything, but I always try to help out friends and family.
Lol, my mom doesn’t know I’m making her a pot in Ceramics for Christmas.
Well I already bought all my xmas gifts for everyone this year. All I want this xmas is to not be on bedrest anymore, its killing me lol.
Hoping to go out and buy a nice pair of shoes for Christmas this year.
I always try to read “A Christmas Carol” for the holidays!
Buying present for my family and watching the surprise on their face after they open it to see what it is.
Waiting to watch my nieces open their $100 Barbie cars and see the joy on their face.

Like a lot of people who have left home, I have to have more than one christmas at different family members houses, which is always nice.

In the Philippines, they celebrate Christmas starting from September. I’d love to go back and spend time with my cousins.
For some reason I like Christmas Eve better than Christmas itself. On Christmas Eve everyone’s so excited for the next day, we go out for dinner (maybe sushi, etc.) watch a Christmas movie, maybe have apple pie.
It’s so nice and happy 🙂
But of course actual Christmas Day has all the presents it’s a tough choice xD
Every year, on the day after Christmas I fly to my Dad’s house for a couple months so I’m also looking forward to that. And last but not least my brother, who is in college, is flying down for Christmas this Saturday 😀

I’m happy to just see my family
Every single year, I’m the first one to wake up, in order to wake up my brother, and sisters. So that we may open presents. This one year, I had waken up soooo early that my parents preplanned it. I had found a note, saying “DO NOT OPEN PRESENTS TILL WE WAKE UP 8:00 AM”. It was 2:00 AM. So I already woke everyone up, besides my parents. We all sat around the tree, waiting. We were bored out of our minds. We forgot about everything. Tvs, computers, videogames. So we sat in front of a tree for 6 hours looking at the presents we couldn’t open. My favorite Christmas story. ^_^

I really hope I don’t end up with frostbite before Xmas. Chicago winters are brutal.
I peaked and found out I’m getting the girly Lime Green DS bundle (wifey is keeping the purse/case for herself) to replace my busted crimson red ds. I loved the color of the ds, but never wanted to spend the extra $$ for the bundle since I had little use for the aforementioned purse/case or Personal Trainer: Cooking. Wife went ahead and did it for me, so kudos to her!

When you stop believing in Santa Claus is when you start getting clothes for Christmas.
So. Christmas is just round the corner and I just want to say that it would be a real good present, just something to make Christmas a little better for a certain bearded man in a red suit; not to mention that you’ll only get a piece of coal if you don’t let me win lol 🙂
The real joy of Christmas is the giving rather than the receiving.

Our typical christmas day:
Breakfast @ mum’s parents/our house
Lunch @ dad’s parents house
Dinner @ Cousins house, where we party and drink profusely to the stage where 30 people try to hold a tune but…yeah…emphasis on the ‘try’.
For Christmas, my cousins are coming over to decorate the Christmas tree, and obviously, give presents! My uncle is installing Windows 7! Wohoo!
Hello. For Christmas i a, going to Canada to visit my relatives. I go every year and we usually just hang out.
Christmas is not buying stuff for other people that you see in every Christmas every year but to give back something to the community or around the neighborhood.
